Victoria Chapman

Program Associate

Victoria recently celebrated her 5-year anniversary living in the city of Detroit.  Her community ties have led her to many opportunities working in restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife hubs spanning all over Metro Detroit. When she’s not in a kitchen, you can probably find her on stage singing karaoke.

Her background in non-profit work brought her to a career in child welfare where she spent multiple years working as a foster care specialist and later an adoption specialist. Her most formative experience was working with young adults in Independent Living where she assisted teens in finding secure housing, furthering their education, and connecting them with employment opportunities as they transitioned out of foster care and into adulthood.

Victoria obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from Michigan State University.
