Diamond Dantzler is proof that exposure to skills, careers and opportunities will lead to success! As a student of DFA’s original Advanced cohort, and long-time Small Batch Employee, Diamond found an opportunity to grow her leadership skills and gain hands-on workforce training by becoming a full-time staff member at DFA.
Her past roles over 10 years included,Small Batch Production Manager, Small Batch Business Manager, and Advanced Program co-lead. Now as a caring adult, she serves as a mentor to DFA students sharing her experiences and journey which led to her current role, Office Manager, which includes assisting with administrative matters such as payroll, accounting, human resources, program facilitation, summer employment, and supporting management.
She continues to provide input and her unique perspective on curriculum development, youth resources, and the Youth Empowerment Board.
